Our people

Hello , I'm Carol and I have been working at Fourth for three years. Up until joining the Success Team a few months ago, I was a Project Manager delivering the fnb manager solution.

My role not only required that I understood all aspects of the system but also that I understood how people were using it and how it matched their business priorities.

Before Fourth, I worked operationally within the hospitality sector for 7 years. I loved it in the way that only someone who does it for a living can understand and I'm grateful for the insight it has given me to our clients needs.

That's what I love about the Success role, I am able to use my experience in both the operational and system practices to further enhance the users experience.

Being in the Success Team allows me to see the current system in practice and guide people in the direction that's best for them. I know what the best practices are for getting the most out of the system working in a consultative manner to find out what fits best for the customer and I truly get a thrill when I see I've made a difference.

Nutrition in the hospitality industry

Improving nutrition is high on the agenda for Government and businesses. Fourth Hospitality recognises its role in supporting your business in this rapidly evolving area.

We have therefore arranged two half-day nutrition events to take place at our Covent Garden office in January.

Each event is split into two, 2 hour sessions: a primer session covering key issues in public health nutrition and their relevance to the hospitality industry. A follow-on session will provide an overview of current guidelines and legislation in relation to nutrition. It will explore the impact of future legislation for the hospitality industry. This session will include the current rationale of front of pack labelling, nutrition and allergen labelling.

The events will be on the 20th and 26th of January with the first session starting at 12:30 followed by a 30 minute break and the second session commencing at 15:00 finishing around 17:00.

» Register for the 20th of January
» Register for the 26th of January

You can attend both sessions on each day or only one if required. Please click on the link below to register your interest and state which sessions you would like to attend and how many people will be attending.

You are able to future date catalogues on trade simple, customers are able to approve catalogue changes with a future date. trade simple will automatically make the changes on all approved catalogue on the morning of the effective date.

After creating employees on people system there is the facility to upload documents such as scanned proof of eligibility or employee letters. This creates central visibility and assists in due diligence giving instant access to employee documentation.

You can keep a more regular check on any stock variances by using the Cyclic Stock Count. This option will allow you to check selected items and check variances mid period making it easier to identify where variances are occurring.

If there is a product that you use frequently you can add it to a market list (favourites list) by going to document search, search for the product and right clicking on the product. You will then have the option to add the product to the market list of your choice.
